“What vigil a king must keep to maintain peace.”
—Henry V (Act 4, Scene 1), William Shakespeare
“To lead into a creative future, we retreat and take stock of the world and of ourselves.”
Retreat design consultation will be with Marie-Elsa Bragg.
Westminster Leadership’s retreats are held in Provence, Cumbria, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Washington DC. We offer three different types: private retreat, team leadership retreat and company leadership retreat.
Open retreats will be with people from different cultures, faiths and beliefs.
Private retreats are held with a small group of no more than twelve participants. Some retreats are made up of groups as small as four.
During the retreat each person will have regular sessions with a coach on a one-to-one basis and may also meet with a small group.
There will often be a visiting therapist, theologian, rabbi, imam, priest, astronomer, poet, monastic, musician, peace envoy or writer present at the retreat.
To join a private retreat, there is an initial consultation with Marie-Elsa Bragg that may, in turn, lead to further consultations.
There is a pre-retreat coaching session for preparation before you arrive and a post-retreat coaching session to touch base once you have returned home. These can be on Skype or in person and will be scheduled in accord with your diary.
Private retreats are confidential.
Team Leadership Retreat
This may be a Leadership Retreat in general or it may focus on an issue that is central to the team.
Retreats vary in length.
During a three-day retreat each team member will have at least two private one-to-one coaching sessions.
Company Leadership Retreat
Companies often find an invaluable resource in providing a regular annual retreat.
Retreats are designed for senior managers who are about to start – or have just begun – a new stage of leadership. They can be open retreats or bespoke for a company.
These retreats are often carried out annually for the same company.
Marie-Elsa Bragg also runs spiritual retreats. These are either focussed on a theme or simply a guided retreat.
