Marie-Elsa is the director of Westminster Leadership. She has worked with clients such as Saïd Business School, HSC Paris, the UN, the Governments of UK, Bahrain, Israel, Jordan and Germany and companies such as BAE Systems, Lloyds, Royal Mail and Oxford University. Her retreats and workshops are bespoke, covering themes such as: stepping into the next senior role, inner resources for authentic leadership, legacy, political intelligence, retreat in a storm, the impact of visibility and women’s leadership.
Marie-Elsa studied Philosophy and Theology at Oxford University, Jewish Studies at Leo Baeck College and trained for the Priesthood at Ripon College Cuddesdon, Oxford University. She is a Priest in the diocese of London and a Duty Chaplain of Westminster Abbey. She has been a Spiritual Director for over twenty years, an Ignatian (Jesuit) Spiritual Director and retreat leader for eighteen of those years, and a therapist and coach for ten years. As a Spiritual Director, she works with people from different walks of life, traditions, religions and experiences of faith whilst also dedicating part of her work to those in religious orders, such as monastic orders, clergy and the Padres of the Royal Marines and Royal Navy.
Between 2007 and 2009, alongside a parish in Kilburn and interfaith work, Marie-Elsa was part time assistant to the Speaker’s Chaplain for the House of Commons. From her work there, she was invited to Oxford University Saïd Business School as a Leadership programme director, programme developer, lecturer and coach. She was also invited to join a team of programme developers at Olivier Mythodrama, co-lead workshops and coach using Shakespeare for leadership development.
